God of Wealth Dou Zhanlong

A Taoist named Cui accidentally sets free a treasure-gathering golden toad while attempting to read a sacred heavenly book. Drawn to the wealth and vitality of the human world, the golden toad reincarnates as a human being named Dou Zhanlong. But to escape a heavenly calamity, the toad tears apart the three souls and seven spirits housed within Dou Zhanlong's spiritual cavity, creating nine separate clones — each scattered across a different location. These nine versions of Dou Zhanlong exist across parallel timelines and dimensions, and with every death a new clone is born. Together, they must endure a total of nine deaths and thirteen disasters. The story begins with the very first Dou Zhanlong.
